Yes 4G sim card on an iPhone is a problem, you can only get internet data but not call and SMS. By default iPhone will disable Voice over LTE (VoLTE) due to Yes network did not certify their network with Apple. For users you can enable this at your own risk since we know the VoLTE is working on most phone.
To do this just go to:
Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data > VoLTE (Switch on)
You will receive a warning saying its not verified with Apple iPhone, you can click OK
Now you can receive call and SMS from Yes
